For its second learning activity, the EDUFIRST project shifted to Barcelona, hosted by the IMEB (Barcelona City Council’s Education Institute). Over three immersive days, we explored the city’s powerful and innovative approach to Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC).

The Barcelona model is pioneering new dimensions of what ECEC can be, moving beyond the classroom to emphasize deep community engagement and a groundbreaking climate justice approach.
