Our EDUFIRST our third and final learning activity culminated in the Finnish city of Tampere. Over three immersive days, we delved deep into the renowned Finnish Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) model, exploring its practices, institutions, and engaging in its current pedagogical debates.
One foundational principle stood out: the universal, subjective right of every child under school age (0-7 years) to receive high-quality education and care. Witnessing this commitment in action provided a powerful contrast to the realities faced in many Southern European countries.
