On April 28, Barcelona hosted the Community Nursery School Events within the Edufirst framework, under the process «Teixint infàncies, creant xarxes: Escoles Bressol Comunitàries» (Weaving childhoods, building networks). 

The gathering brought together 105 municipal nursery schools, family spaces, and community stakeholders, aiming to strengthen early childhood education within the community. The event featured participatory activities, pilot experiences, and academic reflections focused on rethinking education through a community and democratic lens.
